Using DUKE’s exclusive Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB) services, you can arrange to have an email automatically sent to the person that is about to receive your direct mail piece. Create greater visibility for your mailing and generate higher response rates from your marketing using this technique. An IMB is printed on every piece of a direct mailing. Once the barcode on the mail piece is scanned at the post office, an email is triggered to the recipient of your direct mailing. The email notification feature is not available through the USPS. IMBs will be required by the USPS on all of your mailings beginning in May of 2011.
